AYURVEDIC TREATMENTS

NASYA :


Nasya is an ancient Ayurvedic nasal treatment that combines a head, neck and shoulder massage with organic aromatherapy products and the application of warmed herbal oil to the nasal cavity. Nasya therapy is an Ayurvedic process that can help clean the upper respiratory passage by draining out the excessive mucus.

 

VAMANA :


The Vitiated and aggressive Kapha Dosha is thrown out of the body, which cures the disease. Increases digestion and metabolic power.General health is restored.The sense organs, mind, intellect, and complexity become apparent and gain strength.One gets

strength, nutrition, and immunity. Vamana Karma helps to lose 9.70 % of body weight .

 

VIRECHNA :


Virechana is one of the Panchakarma therapies wherein purgation is induced by drugs and it specifically aims at the elimination of excessive Pitta Dosha from the body. It improves the condition of skin disorders like rashes and allergy.

 

BASTI :


This includes lower back pain, gout, arthritis, chronic constipation, etc. It benefits epilepsy, and also dysfunction of senses. Basti also enhances the immune system of the individual by cleansing the Colon. Basti also nourishes the base Prana of the body which is formed in the colon of the body.

Basti is highly beneficial as a rejuvenating treatment as well.



SHIRODHARA:


Shirodhara is said to have relaxing, soothing, and calming effects on the body and mind. Research also suggests that shirodhara may help: improve sleep quality, manage insomnia.


As per Ayurveda, Shirodhara is specifically advised when there is an aggravation of Vata and Pitta Doshas in the mind and body. Shirodhara, with the medicated hair oil treatment not only stimulate hair growth, but also treat stress. Arrest hair fall and nourish scalp.


 Panchakarma:

Panchakarma is a method of cleansing the body of all the unwanted waste after lubricating it. Panchakarma are 5 (five) in number; hence the term PANCHA (five) – KARMA (procedures). Panchakarma treatment is unique in the sense that it includes preventive, curative and promotive actions for various diseases.

For a little history, here are the five classical elements that make up panchakarma therapy as they were originally written: Basti , Nasya , Vamana,  Virechana , Raktamokshana.
